I worked with my best mate for years , then we started on our own , did 12 succesful years ,forced to close due to bad debts , my mate's marriage failed , met someone else ,moved to Spain hoping the weather would help his oncoming arthritis. Happy in the sun ,running a market stall twice week.

Died of asbestosis last year .

Getting it sampled won't cost too much, a non licences contractor may be cheaper than a licensed one, same goes for the removal which I'm pretty sure this will be non licensed work.

If there's any untreated surface or it look for a shiny finish (mica)which would indicate superlux but not sure if this ties in with dates.
