Forums exist largely in part, as a like minded group of people. Many of our members work alone, or in small groups and never get the chance during normal working hours to exchange views and ideas. The forum exists because we make it happen, working alone in this trade is probably one of the most stressful jobs there is, simply because we can never be a master of all.

I would be put to shame if I was to work alongside a domestic installer, I would have no idea of what routes would work best, or how to get a cable from A to B .

I look at most posts on this forum, I talk with some members via text or phone, that keeps myself in touch with other like minded people.

I have even met some members, and have been enriched by there friendship.

Now I am a likeable but volatile person, probably grumpy due to age. If I get a PM for advise I will give it, but you should not be asking via PM. The question, and answer provide insight to others who dare not ask, or those who browse and never ask.

So if you have a question just ask in open forum, you will get far more feedback than a self obsessed of course I am right person like myself!!

That's tongue in cheek for those who do not know me! I am never obsessed, just right.

I get semi regular questions by PM and my standard reply is to start a thread. Occasionally you might want to keep the issues with your wife's pussy private and I understand that...............
