I've met Tony, he's a nice bloke and not the sort to try and trip you up. Think up a question or two to ask his advice on, you'll find him very knowledgeable and very helpful and he'll respect you for asking.

Always good to have a couple of questions to ask them. Contentious ones are best like can I export TN-C-S where PME conditions apply (I did say it was contentious).

I remember my last surveillance visit, the assessor picked me up for cables embedded in plaster in a wall being down as method C. I showed him it in the BRB and he was very surprised and said he had learned something that day.

So far I've read some good things about the assessor. I hope he don't go sick on the day of my assessment!!

Oh, and another important point to remember. The assessor has probably had a long drive to get to you (if your start time is 9.30am or thereabouts) so GET THE KETTLE ON.

dont sweat it mate, have all your paper work ready, follow safe isolation, answer a few questions about your work, do some testing the results will corrispond to the ones on your cert and should be what you would expect. make sure bonding is done and your work complies as it would any way

had one the other day,

looked at paperwork

looked at certs

did all the test

lableing at cu

questions about the install and questons about the regs, like bathroom zones, stuff you will prob know but if you dont then look it up

I'm not in elecsa nor have I ever been, but I have met and spoken to Tony Grabarz. He is a decent bloke and assesses all the elecsa guys where I'm from. Not one of them has a bad word to say about him, in fact I've only ever heard good things about him.

Hi Guys and gals,

Mine is on the 29th March and im already getting butterflies thinking about the date. I'll be using cu change as my assessment, as this will be my very first assessment i dont know what to feel. The name of the assesser is Russell Prestidge so i dont know if any of you out there know him, unless he's reading this himself:Blushing
