could you please show me the question? what are we seeing in the photo ,is it the pullcord or the light?
also not all the cables are in the photos ,we need to see the complete setup, you have 3 cables from the hole in the ceiling
1st one has a red, black, and ,one bare
2nd has a red, blue, yellow, and one bare
3rd goes off to the right and I cant see where it goes
the fan switch looks like the 2nd cable goes here (as it got the same number of cores) in the olden days we would use red as permanent live the yellow as switched, and the blue as neutral all the bare are used as an earth and should be connected together cant see what the other cable is from the switch (looks like brown blue and two blacks?)

I have no idea what the question is...?

But I think the problem is something to do with limited understanding of 'Permanent Live', 'Switched Live'. 'Neutral' and 'Earth' connectivity..

But I may be wrong?

The OP is clearly out of his depth, sellotape joining a brown and red, neutral terminated on the insulation, should we be encouraging him?

To the OP get an electrician in they will sort it out within an hour.

Hi
Thanks, can u tell me what is permanent and switched live and is yellow used as switched live plz.
Thanks

I got it now.when switched then it is live..thanks. actually I want to learn that's why otherwise electrician can do in 2 minutes. Thanks

Sorry it is no good showing us wiring diagrams as we know what we are doing, the question is do you?
Unless you are able to a) define exactly which wire does what b) read and understand the drawing, then you really ought to call in an electrician. You can ask questions and learn whilst he/she is there.

yes that is how its done,
maybe you should get your wallet out and pay an electrician to sort it out,

Exactly.... trying to do something without the full understanding of what you are doing. Not good.
