I used mine recently on a 4x6 foot compressor shed we built, worked OK but used almost a full bottle!I'd go with the superfire2 also, but I'm not sure about using it for roofing repairs, I only use mine for plumbing, and it is excellent for that.Not sure what it would be like for roofing and tarmacking!
Fortunately this work is covered by the firms PLI so doesnt really affect my own policy although im covered for upto 10% hot works anyways. Good call tho as i know some people who arent yet still do what would be regarded as hot works by an insurer.Just a thought Jono, my PL insurers seem to be obsessed with gas torches , welding any heat heat producing tool for obvious reasons I guess. So I imagine they'd be cranking up the premium if you admit to using a gas torch.
