Borrowing next doors broadband....

We moved home the other week and whilst we have just had Sky installed we are still waiting for our phone line and then broadband to be installed, thankfully our new neighbour is a star and offer us the use of his broadband (WiFi key) until we get it sorted... It was really doing our heads in, but ooohh what a releif to not have to tether to my ssssllllllloooooowwwww mobile signal.

i thought sky did all the install in one hit noz, as they did when my sister bought her house they instaled the bb phone and sky in one visit.

You could always use backtrack,

I know a guy used it for 3or4 years until he moved house.

just drill a hole and push a coax through, I'm sure he wont mind you tapping into the SKY as well

I did this for my neighbour at my last place. He was 95 and just bought his first computer, so I let him piggy-back my wifi connection. He offered to pay too, though I did decline his kind offer.
