Hi, I'm fairly new to the electrical installer trade and just wondered if anyone else had come across the same thing I have.

I think with Christmas coming up, this is going to be an increasing thing for me (and other installers) but a couple of my first jobs were putting TVs on the wall of customers houses. The customers have been hesitant about where they want the TV, so putting the cables behind the walls seemed risky in case they wanted to move it later. So I didn't leave cables hanging I wanted to use a cover. Others I've talked to suggested MK but I found cable covers by a company called **** ** *** and they open and shut any time to add wires, look nicer and were easier to fit.

* **** trunking I think is just a generic term (that describes it's shape) rather than a particular make.

Yes it can look nicer than ordinary square trunking. but up here 90% of houses have plasterboard walls, so there's just no competition, in the wall every time.
