I think I shall go and Smoke a haddock now....

so next time Deke needs a whacking with a fish I can use a Smoked Haddock and be posh! :p ] :) ; \

as a quick question, where would anyone realistically use 1.0mm anymore on a standard domestic with all the insulation derating now?just wondering if it is really practical for the little savings made. personally, I have always used 1.5 all the time anyway, just find 1.0 a bit of a not proper spark job. (no offence intended to anyone)
I use 1.00mm for lighting on,say, a typical Brum basic semi, up circuit 6 lights , down circuit 6 lights. Say 600 watts max on each. 3 amps per circuit cable rated at 14 amps . Just easier to connect in pokey domestic fittings.

No offence taken , life being too short.
