ProDave, I use short rods, long rods, steel fish tape, nylon draw tape, string and lead weight, pvc conduit, mini trunking lid..................or whatever else is appropriate.

It's horses for courses for me, don't rule out anything - oh yes, I use a steel rule as well on occasions!

I'm with this! I've used 2 tapped lengths of draft proofing to fish down a trunking before today.

trunking lid folded over (or 2 pieces) and taped together is useful for eggshell walls for forcing it through the card

Had both sets and would recommend the super rods. They've lasted loads longer than the cheapo ones.

whats wrong with a good old metal coat hanger,cheap as chips.if you forget to bring ur own most wardrobes will contain many.

Just looking for a bit of advice on them really, before I go and buy a set.Are the Super Rod ones worth the extra cash over a set of the cheaper ones.

If so, what makes them so much better?

I have one of these sets...

Only had one screw end bit come off... But I just drilled it out and re-glued back on!

I also have one of these shorter toolbox sets as well!

IMHO both sets are good value for money and "do what it says on the tin" as they say!
