I thought the earth electrode requirement was dropped ? ? ? ?

Dropped from the next version, from what we hear, but, it is going to come back in the 1st Amd.

it wasnt in the list of changes for 18th so looks like it was dropped, but im expecting it to make a return

Wait and see.. First off it will be earth rods for TNCS.....

Next it will be earth rods for all installations...

Then the esqcr will be changed so the DNO's do not have to maintain any existing earthing provision..

far better to insist that suppliers install and maintain TNS

Yep, exactly.. But what should be done, and what actually gets done, [cannot go spending foriegn shareholders money now can we] are two different things..
