Ceiling Light Fittings

Fitting a new light to replace an old ceiling rose. The new light has no space for all the wires (incoming and outgoing power and the switch) so what's the best way of accommodating them - Wago box above the fitting in the loft? Easy enough to do as it isn't boarded at that point. Any other alternatives?

Wago box or junction box in the the loft and a short length of cable to the light are the only real options.
