Change over switch

A customer wishes to supply the lighting in their hall from a PIR sensor but is concerned they will become fed up with the control system and may want to control via standard 2 way switching set up. I have suggested installing both control systems and a changeover switch mounted locally in the CU cupboard box. They could then alternate the method of control at their will. Could anyone suggest a source for such a changeover switch please?

A standard 1 gang 2 way light switch is a changeover switch and could do that.

Would that be as the feed on the common and each load on L1 and L2 respectively, all neutrals joined together? Or am I missing something?

No , the switch wire to the light on the common , PIR feed on L1 , normal feed on L2 then toggle between them .
