18 years of age; changing my career path to become an electrician.

Can anybody recommend any books or information online to read/revise before I start college& my apprenticeship in August ?

Thanks in advance

Follow the link first .

There are the Codes of Practice  .................no idea where you get them from though , never actually seen any.

You could invest in your own 17th Edition Regs   although its £60 - £70

How about the 17th edition  On Site Guide ?    Was it £25 ?

I think the NICEIC site may have tech books for sale .............circuits  etc.     Don't have to be a member ...just give them money.

Yeah id recommend On Site Guide to begin with as its worded in a way thats easy to take in. The regs book can be a little intense when you don't know the basics. Don't worry too much though as you'll learn a lot at college and even more out on site getting the experience.
