Hi Steps, Yes, he did seem to know what he was on about, as these gas ranges he made were all CE approved, so he was something of an expert i think. [i was only the dull welder!!] I think he said something about the molecules of gas being smaller and the yellow stuff was denser, or perhaps is was something about the gas degrading the ordinary stuff like you say.. Years ago, so i cannot remember now...
