cooker switch colour

The majority of cooker switches are red and crabtree that orrible orange but i see mk logic do plain white ones. Is this ok? I could have sworn somewhere i read it had to be red? I not see nothing in regs like but maybe I just miss it.

If it wasn't ok they wouldn't sell them. I think crabtree just use red to clearly identify its not a standard sfcu and MK do the same with an embossed word.

IIRC the top of the rocker is red,, but in all honesty it only has to have a mechanical indication of it's condition and thats obvious due to the position of the switch

Contactum do them with white switches as an option to me they look better.

Just check for british standards markingS or CE etc , thats all you need to worry about
