Not like the IET to give something away for free, you have a better chance of winning the Spanish Lottery!  :innocent

:Applaud

Edit: or was it a sweetner to stop you lot giving Tony Cable a hard time?

I asked for  , "Guide to Emergency Lighting"    ( Would have prefered a free Regs book  )  .

The main reason for registering for entry to ELEX is so the contributors can aim advertising at you or your company  .

I went for the Electrical Safety Management CoP, as it was the most expensive one! ;)

Also I don't do much EM lighting or fire alarms, & I have the CoP for ISIaToEE!

I went for the ebook version, so I get it on my PC (2 off), iPad & phone.

Book arrived , not very impressed TBH   ....not sure what I expected really , hardly anything we don't already know ........lots of BS  & E numbers & form filling  guff ...........well sums up the trade I suppose .

How does that 'work' with the previous issue you mentioned of licences only being valid for 1 year?

will you get FOC any updates over the next 12 months and they are yours to keep for ever OR does it all evaporate after 12 months?

I am still looking to going 'digital' for Amd3 in January

Kerch,

As I have been led to believe.

Any books you have under "Bookshelf" will remain as they are frozen in time.

As from Jan, regs will be subscription based, not sure about the other books.

You will retain access and keep getting free updates as long as you are subscribed.

Once you stop paying, you loose all access to all your subscription books.

Don't think I mentioned books being available for a year?

There is a yearly subscription and another option for 3 years as I understand it.

Perhaps that is what you meant?
