Red seem to be too small, TBH.
Well, yes they are, if you're using 6mm cables. Red crimps arefor 1 and 1.5mm cables, I don;t like using blue crimps for anything smaller than 2.5mm.

Sorry Matty your serious thread about crimps has been seriously hi jacked!
It was a very good tongue in cheek hi-jack though IMO!

Cheese & Onion for me ever time
Thankfully Lurch has steered things back on course. But I am sure all agree, that the occasional minor deviation through a thread do make reading this forum very enjoyable. All in good taste and polite, no problem.

Hi,What are the most popular crimps used?
mostly red/yellow/blue through crimps along blue & yellow ring terminals

sometimes use fork connectors for contactors etc if i want it to look good

also use spade/bullet/other etc in all sizes (more on ELV stuff)

over here, but I think just in certain shops, they are an all ireland national crisp I suppose. :D (they do mail order!)

taste GOOD.
Shared a house at Uni with 2 Irish lassess. One had a summer job in the factory before Uni. They brought loads of the crisps and Nanbarrie tea back with them!

:D

Never seen them for sale over here.

Im not a tea drinker,

but yes,

nambarrie tea and tayto crisps are not something to be substituted.

I know a lass here has a box sent over every month or so.
