what boxes do you guys recommend for keeping stuff actually where you put it.?
Anything similar to the above. I've got loads of trays, some cost a fortune, some are just cheap ones from Lidl\B&Q or wherever. Depends what's going in them, got some largish ones for screws\fixings\clips and crimps\terminals and smaller ones for fuses and resistors\capacitors etc... Loads more with other stuff in, just about everything has a box or tray to fit in. Could just do with a couple of containers to put the trays in really.

wish my stuff was that tidy. :( what boxes do you guys recommend for keeping stuff actually where you put it.?
i have some trays similar to what Admin has - 4 of them slot into a larger plastic case, and i have 3 of them in the van. IIRC, they are about

just seems every screwbox/traycase I buy, stuff migrates from section to section.

I must have about 10 different makes cos I keep getting different ones to see if they are any better than the last.

I used to buy loads of Zag stuff and that seems to keep itself well organised. Usually it's because the middle lifts but some of the better ones will have an additional sliding clip thing on the top to prevent that. With one particular screw tray I used to find that I had no problems when the trays were in the van nicely organised and tightly fitted on the shelf stood vertically but when I had the tray in the car vertically but not tightly against anything it did do a bit of moving about over time and things started to move around between trays. The solution is to keep them fitted tight if stored vertically or have them stacked horizontally.

zag seems to be OK, but Im afraid I now refuse to buy anything made in israel due to their continued terrorist activities, F'in yids.

kinda limits my choice a lot, I know.

prob some of the best cases I have are the screw cases from SF, and just empty them, problem is cant see whats in them.

has any one had any bad crimps, i had some yellow butt, got them from b&Q:coat, was picking up a towel rad at the time and remembered i did not have any, surprised they sold them but i thought cant be that bad. every one pulled off:(, unless i was doing something wrong? not had that prob befor.
Last bag of yellow through crimps that I bought - from IBA wholesaler - just the same, none of them would grip properly; bad batch?

You should keep opinions like that to yourself. They are not the terrorists. This isnt the place to debate this.

my aologises, it is in the wrong place.

it was only an informed opinion, as you have also made, except mine was based on fact.

as a man of the cloth you should never be afraid to look truth in the eye, no matter how others may judge you.

Rev please do not take offense but in my opinion all religion should be banned worldwide as it is the cause of most if not all wars and conflicts.

Also it wasn't that long ago the church admitted the world was not flat so not sure how much looking truth in the eye goes on there.

One mans freedom fighter is another mans terrorist. While I would normally avocate debate, this is a topic many will feel strongly about but I do not see why people need to keep things like that to themselves. I'm sure it's not intended to offend and I'm sure steps has been offended by many an earth exporter or megger user but does not take the narrow view that it's not to be discussed.

My intention here s not to offend you Rev, but to point out that this is (hopefully) a free(ish) country and steps should have the right (even if he is wrong) to view his opinions.

I would agree with you about religion being a cause of conflict. We aim to be as un religious as possible. Religion is a man made invention and actually distances us from God himself! Anyway better not preach this is supposed to be about crisps... crimps....

I have been in the church since birth 45 years and as far as I know have always believed it to be spherical........

Steps, the situation in Israel is too complex to pass off with statements like yours and mine.

may be rev, and it was not my intention to alienate,

but having studied the middle east conflict for quite some time, along with the basque situation, and coming from a country with similar issues, I can quite honestly say that which I believe to be true.

just wondering how this situation with the forged passports will fathom out,

or be brushed under the carpet....

I know people who live there and a lot who have visited the place. We have to realise that the media paints the picture and is very biased especially the BBC. There is another side to the story.
