Done some researchIf it's under warranty, Currys/Dixons USED to have a 28 day rule in that if a product was in their hands for 28 days or more for repair, the customer was entitled to a new product (with a new 12months guarantee) or a refund. This policy MAY have changed over the last couple of years, but it is worth researching. Did a quick search, and I think it's still the policy.
All they keep telling me is they are not responsible and its the manufacturer that is responsible.Responsibility is with the retailer - not the manufacturer. I'd personally call them on this if it's gone over the 28 day period. They won't be happy to have to exchange it, and will try to get out of it no doubt.
