I have done more than Simply "Laid" the underlay down.

Emptied it.

Prep'd it.

Built the wall out.

Ripped all the old tap from around the window.

Foam filled where tat was (Found newspaper dated February 1974 (That's older than me).

Took Rad off.

Sank all cablesinto wall, put in nice Galv back boxes.

Plastered the bedroom. Weren't happy with one wall - so re-skimmed it.

Painted the ceiling, and 4 coats on the wall.

Painted the rad and put that back on.

Went to Carpet Right and B&Q and collapsed when I discovered the cost of the underlay.

Got that from B&Q and Laid it.

Now need to choose carpet. Having that fitted professionally. (Hopefully).

"Got admin laying underlay, indeed!" Phft.

Started all this in 1988.

PS. I have got some pics, will post them the same time as the finished ones.
