Hi,

Im looking after a friends vivariums whilst hes on his honeymoon and the problem is he's got digital timers which control the heaters/uv lights to come on in the morning and off at night. One digital timer controls one heater/uv and another controls 2 heaters/uv's. The one that controls 2 keeps resetting and not coming on. Do you recon the timers are carp or maybe its just too much for the timer to handle.

Cheers

Yep, one of those would be the answer. What is the rating of the timer and what is the rating of the loads. That's probably a good place to start with the overload. I'd swap it for another one and see if it still behaves oddly when it's got no load on it, they're pretty cheap and do go faulty.
