Been asked to change this shower.

There are 2 screws holding the front plate, one at the top and one at the bottom.

Removed these and front cover still does not come off!

Any ideas?

Need to see the wiring/plumbing before deciding which shower to replace it with.

Dunno if this is similar but a Dolphin 860 looks like this....

According to the site info Dolphin are out of business so you wont get any like for like replacement....

Personally I like the Triton gsi range when replacing to existing pipework...

as they have a reversible inlet pipe option so you can fit them for left or right pipe entry..

The one mentioned above  is modern compared to the one i need to remove!

Today I fitted an Argos Triton easy fit on another job. It had a swivel water connection making connection easier.

Like Andy said....

If you're replacing it with a new one then a bit of destructive dismantling might be in order

....its not like you're going to be keeping it ;)
Already half decided that it would have to be a hammer job.

It would be nice to know what shower I could go prepared with.

can you see the inlet water pipe, or is it hidden?

if its external the best you can do is get one that has the inlet on the same side,

most showers I fit have a RHS water inlet.

Thanks Steps but unable to see anything. This shower must be 450mm high and 250mm wide if my memory serves me correctly.

It has a mirror on the front big enough to see your entire face when shaving or puting my mascara on!

It will be ripped out at 09:00 tomorrow morning.

Probable too late - but if it's like one I inspected a couple of years ago the heating element was enclosed in a wonderful machined perspex enclosure and the on/off switch was a voltage operated trip with a string passed through the switch lever. No interlock so water had to be on before applying power. Be nice to get it off in one piece for a museum!

The offending screw was hidden behind the mirror.

Took 2 photos but unable to upload. Anyone interested pm me.
