does anyone have a wiring diagram to install a second door bell chime to an existing mains powered type single bell, please

Have tried several options on this but usally find it does not work to good.

Transformer needs to be 2 Amp+ to provide adequate current for more then one bell

I think you are wanting to add a 2nd sounder onto the same push button rather than a 2nd push button onto an existing bell?

Would you not just put the bells in parallel? And as tim points out you will most likely need an upgraded tranny too. Maybe Sandra can help with that

Could you not boot it through a relay, then you could power ANYTHING from the other end........(e.g. christmas lighting)

Who are you calling an Upgraded Tranny ? I 've never been upgraded in my life.

Badge , a Ding-Dong chime would probably work OK in parallel with a Bell . Very low power.
