i need a door intercom with 1 handset but connected to 2 door controls. any ideas?

was thinking 2x door intercom kits, with outside wired in parallel, but youll probably get audio through both

Could try these Andy -

Videx

I can't post a link to the website but it is videx-security.com

with the www on the front of course !

Been away and just seen this. I also try to use 'Entryphone' where i can. Costs a bit more but worth it. They do a kit that switches the speech and door control to which ever outdoor station is used. Its a small circuit board that fits in the outdoor unit. I try to sell the customer the coded entry as an extra ; \

This is the only link i can find, last door switcher i fitted was a couple of years ago and was as simple as i mentioned above. Give them a call as they are very helpful

Entryphone | Door Entry Systems | 98DCRU - Door capture relay unit

I've done a few Fermax . Usual made in Italy stuff but one fitted at the printers has lasted about ten years . Its well used all day long and recently the four code buttons packed up so I changed the code to four other buttons and working fine again .

Very helpfull with queries on the phone .

yep, most entry phones only use the code for the phone ring,

the audio is available on all handsets,

even in a block of flats, if someone buzzes you and you pick up, someone else can pick up and hear your conversation.

with the cheapo units that is obviously,,,

wireless please :)

house has just been decorated and they had some lovely laminate put down, no access from below either. :|

They used to have a wireless video intercom but the rocket scientists at the NHS insisted on a wired audio one, now they need a video one as the client keeps letting jehovas witnesses in by mistake !

:animal:

I looked at videx, couldn't see what I was looking for!? Do they really exist?

Its a nice victorian house, just been redecorated with tiled and laminate flooring. there also is a basement flat below.

The power supply for the defunct ( hey have the four legged variety) alarm system is by the front door, bonus.

Thinking about it maybe a wireless camera linked to the telly or iphone so she can check theres no one with a copy of Watchtower at the door? ( could be worse I 'spose)

Any other Ideas?

Running cables will be a bit of a headache and will take a lot of hot glue!
