door open sounder

Have been asked to wire a sounder in to a door entry system.

The door has a press button release inside and a fob swipe on the out.

what and how would be the best way to wire a sounder in to activate if the door is left open. There is a spring return to close the door but someone keeps propping something in front of it.

Have been asked to do a similar thing, have used a timer and sounder so when the door is opened a door switch starts a timer so that when it reaches a preset time the sounder is activated until the door is closed and timer is reset.

Used a Crouzet timer, transformer and sounder from RS components
