Downlights

Got a customer who has bought some GU10 downlights and wants me to fit them. She has tried to take the stickers off them and they have left a mark behind. Anybody got any ideas how to get rid of the marks without scratching the lights?

You can try nail polish remover but as always with this type of thing try on a spot that can't be seen first to avoid damage.

Use Johnsons baby oil - it won`t mark the fittings but will remove the adhesive ....

although obviously I am wrong yet again, as pointed out by our smart ar**d surgeon person.!

but it still works,

and IPA is my choice, but you make your own decision, its never caused me any problems yet.
