lets just put this all into context..

We as electricians all know that we have liabilities if we go about our daily duties in a negligent or haphazard way...

SO...

as a mistake on our part could cause the fatality of another member of the public..

My proposal is this....

All electricians MUST employ 2 people..

one to walk in front of their van carrying a red flag..

While we all only drive at 4mph between jobs...

The other one with a broom to sweep all sharp object out of the way of the tyres...

(remember what caused that horrific accident with Concord.. Debris on the runway!)

So these two actions will prevent the electrician from losing control by driving too fast..

and prevent a fault from bursting a tyre causing numerous possible catastrophic accidents...

I believe that if you go and research fatal accident statistic for the past 20 years..

More electricians have killed someone by dangerous driving than those killed by shock from non earthed back boxes!!

So if we really want to do everything practical relative to the actual level of risk..

then this is the way to go!!!

I am sure Captain Back-Box will be in agreement with the statistics!!!!
