Yes if the BACKBOX WAS EARTHED it wouldn't of caused this fatality do to the fault at the time

you could only make that statement that an earthed back box would have prevented a fatality IF YOU WERE THERE and witnessed EXACTLY what happened.

I'll give an argument for sometimes NOT fitting a fly lead.  Some back boxes are just too crowded, e.g switched FCU in 25mm back box. It's hard enough getting the wires you have to into the box without damaging them, let alone adding an extra one for some theoretical event where the person working on it should have isolated before removing the accessory.

the correct grammar is "It Wouldn't HAVE caused...."

Look up OF in the dictionary, then look up have. They are not interchangeable words.
