economy 10

Got economy 10 meter in my house which been told i cant change it to economy 7 as wont have any hot water or heating, although the poxy heaters dont work anyway, so my question why cant it be swapped?

Maybe your suppliers don't do the old economy 7 tarrif any more??

with E-On they say they do economy 7 tarrif but cant change it otherwise would have to change heating and water tank????

But that's not their problem,,, it's yours.

And I guess you have night storage heaters and a twin element immersion cylinder.....

That should be OK as that's what I put in when I do E7 installs

Probably not. Economy 10 comes on at various times of the day (Varies slightly between suppliers) to keep the 'normal' heating & hot water topped up. Economy 7 is all at night.
