Hello, is it possible to scan a document then use a programe or software to edit it. The reason i ask is my partner works in a hair salon and was asked if she could update the pricing list. I have the old list and the new prices for it. I never created the original. Just thought it would be easy to edit but sadly no. any advice will be appreciated. thanks. :coffee

Concur with the vet. ;) Bet he ain't wired he shed yet....

Captain Conduit! ]:)
There is light! Sockets up in new shed, just need to finish conduit in middle shed and then a bit of basic testing and it all goes live :D

Working till 10pm this evening on it!

I will post some pictures soon. :D

Quick question - do 'proper' sparks occasionally forget to order a metalcald 2 way switch and have to improvise until one arrives X( :innocent

needs ocr to save typing but ultimately create it again

to bodge it you can scan it into paint cut the prices and add text of new prices

Thanks guys, downloading a programme trial just now. sorry steps, just needed some friendly advice on something non-electrical. :run
You are welcome to post on any subject you want, there is even a computer section!

A basic OCR package will let you create the text you can then just import into a bog standard word processor as raw unformatted text.

edit it..

then save it back in the word processor format styles...

I had a program 9+ years back..

freebie thing that came with and old flat-bed scanner...

I did use it a few times.. did the job..

saved loadsa typing!

:)

Or if not just stick on what they did happen to have knocking around spare...

Single socket....

FCU.....

Room Thermostat...

TV co-ax outlet..

whatever is the same shape..

it works via a 2nd hand weatherproof MK single switch, not 2 gang [which I meant, not 2 way] all lights on or off. Proper switch should be here tomorrow.

It's all because I'm stingy and ordered bits from different suppliers to save a few pennies

:D
