A thief suffered an electric shock and was left with "life changing" injuries after trying to steal cable from a sub station in Salford. The 45-year-old was badly burned as he tried to steal copper cable from a sub station in Rake Lane, Clifton, just after 0500 BST.

He is being treated at Wythenshawe Hospital for burns to his face, neck, hands and knees.
but i wouldnt be surprised if he is able to claim compensation for his injuries, and the DNO prosecuted for failing to maintain his safety

I couldnt possibly comment as I have never been in one, the closest has been is to the offices at Winson Green Prison when i tried to smuggle some wool, knitting needles and malt loaf in for Deke.

Apparently so iwas told he was caught in Erdington's Poundshop trying to buy some toilet roll, the staff were all east european, didnt have a clue what he was talking about, so he tried to do an action like sitting on the loo wiping his xxx.

They were really offended, a fight nearly broke out but the police intervened and the poor sod was arrested lol!

The impact blew part of his skull away leaving his little brain exposed ...what an idiot X(

I feel more sorry for his little daughter having a twit of a father!

err lets see now great big signs outside saying 'keep out danger of death' the wally decides to nick a cable that still has current running through it and at a high voltage..... what a plonker. No doubt the european court of human rights will see him right. I'm sure he will have hurt feelings or damage to his self esteem.

With pictures too, for those who can't read.

I believe they will award him a HUGE figure of compo too. :_|

I suppose it would be that as he now has some big bad burns and now cannot "work" that he'll now be on disability benefit;)
Probably the top level of disability benefit too where all his rent is paid, over
