ESP Infinite/Prime

I have installed many of these panels.Have recently had trouble with two systems false alarming. Nothing showing on display and unable to stop with user code. Suspect wireless sounder unit might be picking up mains or RF spikes.The sounder sounds for the factory default time and then stops,no strobe flashing.... Any ideas????

Welcome to the forum securicom.

I dont like any wireless alarm system, quick install? I can hard wire faster.

Have you checked the programming menu for anything that could have been missed like having a default setting 000 or something like.

I really have no idea but some others may have and will no doubt put you right.

I always like to check the obvious things first ie batteries radio link working which can be checked on walk test and menu settings.

How old are the systems. Used to fit a good few years ago when they were just released. Had a few probs with the batteries in the panels (as you do with most alarms that aren't maintained). Never used the wireless bell module though as it wasn't arround then.

Thanks for response.The systems are only about six months old, have installed loads of them but just these two giving me jip !!! Not happening regularly,can go weeks.

Its going to be a hard one to track down, and may just be faulty units.

Give the tech helpline a call and let them know these are the only two that are troublesome out of all the ones you have fitted. This way they know your not a first time user and wont fob you off with checks you already know about.
