If the estimate was for 2k plus the dreaded then your quote looks impressively low.

I would price the heaters and deduct that from the original quote to see what they would have charged.

You will always be able to undercut a firm of electricians because business wise you would be content to just earn a living without any profit.

Just make sure the wage you get from the job is enough after you have paid your tax.
