Explanation of MW / EIC

I am looking for a a written explanation of when a MW cert is required and when an EIC is required. It is for an insurance co so rather than write in my own words I would rather have something formal written say by the IEE / IET etc. I used to have some certs which I downloaded from the IEE years ago which had an explanation of what each cert is for but sadly can't find it anywhere.

open to interpetation

and are a guide as to how to, conduct your life/install electrical cabling

I do not doubt that Steps, as you well know, I just find it hard to not get a migrane when some people say that the BRB is the be all and end all of installation, which it isnt.
