Ian932, dont know if its too far for you but the Stockport branch is still up and running, might be worth your while getting your moneys worth of stock and then owe them instead, get what you can and then sell it on. At least you wont be out of pocket

Anyone can search information themselves from public domain resources if they so wish, however some public domain information is not always freely available, only available after purchasing certain records. Without any consent from private individuals, it is probably best not to leave the forum, (specifically Admin), with the risk of any legal proceeding. Registered office addresses and/or administrators addresses should present no problems. But individual company employees, Directors etc, are best not published here. Unless someone has a link to another resource or personal permission. (We had a similar situation with the other administration thread). Thank You.

Sorry to disagree with you Doc but the details are available free to anybody on both Jordanwatch & Companies House websites. Since this constitutes being in the public domain I can't honestly see that there are any issues.

I am not aware of any free links giving the directors names from companies house website, generally there is a fee paid for this additional information. If you could provide a link to the free accessible pages showing the names and addresses you refer to then that I am sure that would help. Otherwise persons do have legal rights to take action against any forum publishing what they feel is slanderous or libelous information. And whether we like it or not legally limited companies are just that. Limiting the liabilities of the directors!

I understand completely the legal position the forum could be placed in and your need to vet that (not you Apache ).

Now I have supplied a public and FREE of charge link with the details can we please have the names reinstated? I have been careful throughout to ensure there is nothing slanderous in any of my posts and to keep it factual.

Simon Jackson has been informed of this discussion via his PA and is probably reading it as we speak if he would like to discuss his companies actions on hear its very simple to register or alternatively you have my number.

I have no problem with the link you provided, should you wish to continue to refer to it. But the directors home addresses, as far as I understand, is not a company asset. We need to be careful what is posted in these situations. I can appreciate your frustrations Ian and I have no problems with you having a quite justifiable rant. These are tough enough times as it is without these low life taking your hard earned money as well!

"Connaught took them for I beleive 1/2 mil and they shut five branches a couple of weeks ago, Kendal, Blackpool, Wilmslow, Stoke and Birmingham. The put out the story they were having a restructure then we found out they've gone bump. I have heard that they are already setting up again as EED Revive, how true this is not sure but they owe us approx 10k

I wouldn't be surprised if more comes out of this as there's a rumour that when they closed the five branches, the stock that was in them was put into a warehouse in an undisclosed location that has allegedly no ties to Express to store it till they reopen so it cannot be sold off by the liquidators."

I knew about the branch closures the day they happened as mine was Stoke, I believe it was 6 in total, it was Wolves not Brum.

Interesting rumor about the stock of 6 branches going AWOL, being in that game exbdc what would be the value of your average branch stock be?

I'm sure this will be going in my letter to the administrator along with some other little nuggets which I've picked up. Guinness
