These costing excersises can get silly. You'd have broadband anyways if you posted your tax form. You could calculate the cost based on

(time spend online doing tax form/total time on broadband over the year)* cost of broadband

But we'd have to allow for a % use of computer

now we never costed the envelope or the biro ink.

How much is it woth not to go out in the cold?

Less likely to get lost if done electronically

Never filled a tax form in but is it quicker online?

All these factors need to be costed but the very bottom line is you get to keep the stamp and send something else, so, therefore

you've saved 27p IN YOUR POCKET
