Did I say that? :p Depends which side of the fence you sit on - it you believe that the whole circuit that is modified requires RCD protection then it would be required! I'm sure we would all agree outside lights are a place that water and electricity are more likely than average to meet and an RCD would be desirable?!

android as long as you make the bends nice and flowing cables will have a easier time to pus round.

time and time again i meet sparks who do some very intricate tube work that looks nice at first glance but they have not thought about making it easy to wire.

As I have sent before I want to do it correctly and to make sure that is done correctly i would rather make mistakes now and learn from them before i am let loose on the general public :^O

I was hoping to not have to put the dog leg in ,but due to rough concrete and that horrible corner plate was left with no real option :(
