its a really old account I had a few years ago and somehow its now become linked to my present account and I am getting loads of sh*t from it,  :shakehead

Go to the Security tab in your settings,,, at the bottom left is "deactivate your account" button

I had found that, but, it still leaves a legacy of stuff on facebook apparently,

but, a couple of pages of clicking through that there is a litlle little link among the words that you click to delete,

it stil;l takes 14days for it to happen though,,,,,,,  WTF,  :shakehead

I have the same problem with the Twittery thing .  Signed up to view something or other m, can't remember what , never  twitted , it seemed facile TBH  but can I extract myself from it ?  ....Can I *%$$£     !!

They keep sending emails  ..."You hav'nt confirmed yourself "  Or something !!
