When I first fitted these, the owner was there being "helpful"  He passed the fittings and then the lamps up to me on my steps. So i just took his word for it that he had, as instructed bought 28W lamps.  I didn't bother reading the small print on the lamp itself.

But today I was tasked with finding a solution (which I thought was going to be package up the "dud" fittings and send them back to CPC)

But when I went to the stack of spare lamps in the cupboard they were ALL 38W.

He likes to supply all materials himself as he's paranoid about being able to reclaim the VAT.  This is just one of many incidents where this proves not to be the most cost effective course of action.

I did a LOT of work on a particular site a year or so ago.

We skipped most of the Tamlight gear on site as it was failing so often, and, it was not that old!

I haven't been back to the my site for a while.  My problem was "solved" when I found he was fitting 38W lamps into 28W fittings, and my last instructions were try the correct lamps and report back.
