Hi all.

After some ideas/info on what everyone is doing regarding connections at first downlight points and bathroom lights with extract fan feeds. I'm a big an of wago boxes and connectors but with feed in feed out switch line and fan feed or loop out to other spots it's a squeeze. Plus you have to terminate 4 earths and 4 neutrals.

What is everyone thoughts

Been known to do the connections in the back of the fan isolator box before if there is space. A Hager J501 will go through a downlight hole but is alot more work than a regular wagobox imo

With the advent of downlights  I changed to 3 plating at the switches  .    (  Applies to new wiring  obviously )

Or if there is a loft above  just screw a ceiling rose to a joist and 3 plate the fan wiring in it .

Or as said , there are JBs that fit up downlight holes.
