Hello Y'all, i was thinking it might be a good idea to invest in some stock of the Fein Multimaster.

I have seen it talked about a fair bit here and it seemed to have a load of interest at Sandown Park last week, my question is what would be a competitive price?

Any help please ladies and gentlemen.

I got one from sandown park on Thursday. Its a 240v model with about 7 cutting tools and all the sanding attachments. I paid

If you stock the blades at a competetive price I'd buy them from you, I've used the tool on all manner of jobs the last one being to use the diamond blade to cut tiles & grout to repair a shower cable that had been drilled.........reminds me I need to order a new set of Fluke 1653 leads..........somebody cut the blue lead when running in singles on a job last week :Blushing

Just aswel I had a spare one even if it is green:innocent

I got mine from local tool shop what they did say was they don't make much selling tool the profit is in the blades. As M says blades would be useful i have tried the cheap blades and they don't seem to last long. I would be interested in buying blades as i already have the saw.

It's one of those that is NOT limited to one job, so SHOULD get a fair old usage.

I agree with what has been said:

Sell it cheap as you possibly can

Sell the attachments for it too.

:D

Is there anything that a Fein cannot do??..........well yes, probably a million trillion quadzillion things, but

On todays kitchen product it,

Slotted coving to accept plasterboard for new wall

Cut about 20 nails so door casing could be removed and turned around...just ran blade down side of casing between studwork and case

Cut new waste water pipes, using workmate jaws as a Vee block

Removed old waste pipes

Cut old cooker hood ducting [30 year old blower piping from a Ford Escort [times were hard when we first married...needs must etc etc]

Flush cut old copper pipes

cut some timber

wazzed out some drylining boxes

adjust plasterboard as some wazzock had cut it too big [ Me? never!]

all work done with same [now knackered] blade.............. :coat

I have the bosch one its alot cheaper/ blades are cheaper as well even though i found Saxon blades on ebay fit all makes,

use it loads now saves me so much time just need to buy a few more batterys

We had the Fein Rep come in today (Top Guy) and we have agreed to stock both the Corded and Cordless versions as well as a good selection of the blades.

As a indication we should be able to offer the Corded multimaster at around
