Whats involved in a fire cert and what insurances would you need? Is there a guidance note on this. I've installed them but never a periodic on one

If you have installed any fire alarm system you should already have a copy of the relevent BS publication and the guidance notes. This would be required during any anual inspection.

Sorry should have more clear, I've installed one while I've been at a firm but not while self employed, worked to a plan installed and tested r1 r2 and functional testing (smoke). Would like to know more about whats expected of you to test them,
