Hi. I have a citroen dispatch van 2014 2.0 diesel and would like to fit 3 x 7w lamps to the rear internal cargo roof ...taking the supply for these led lamps off the present rear interior lamp. I would like to know if there would be any issues with the added power consumption in this interior light circuit eg module overload. Thanks

Don't bother,,,,,, You'll get a much better spread of light if you put a length of LED tape right down the middle of the roof line. You can connect this to the existing courtesy light if you like...... just make sure that you clean where you're sticking the LED tape to first or it'll fall off after a while

Got LED strip in the back of me combo. run directly from the courtesy lights which were only useful as hand warmers in winter.

the only problem I've had is with the cheapo strip in the front, some of the smd's are gone I put this down to voltage spikes from the alternator.

Also have all LED's in the car. the lighting is not part of the canbus system so I can use any old carp but if the lighting is part of the can bus system the you need to use error free smd's.

:)

ive got LED tape in the back of mine all wired through 2 way switching (front & back doors) complete with timer for the odd time they get left on...
