If they are exposed boards then I use my Bosch PMF180 (similar to a Fein) and stagger the cross cuts so it's not too obvious and lift them by putting a screw in the end (just in the board) and lift with a claw hammer.

If it's carpeted or chipboard then I let loose with the circular saw and rip it up with a flat pry bar! ;) ! ; )

 
but if use a circular saw and just cut across them all, when u put them back down, the floor will flex, where are cuts are made...
