I saw one once shortly after the driver had lost control and the following artic had run over/through it. Was much the same!!

Nothing against caravans, but when you see the size of some of them that halfwits [most likely smug types that think they are special] tow around with an ordinary car it is just plain stupid. Wonder how much longer it will be before the police start weighing them and checking licences??

I have a trailer licence so do not care!! [AND i passed a test to get mine..]

While i am having a rant, why is it that HGV licences, driving one before the licence came out?? YOU WIN A FREE LICENCE!!!!!!

Passed your car test before 1997?? YOU WIN A FREE TRAILER LICENCE!!!!!!

Driving a bus before PSV licences came out?? YOU WIN A FREE LICENCE!!!!!!

Riding a motor bike were you?? Well, in that case you are BANNED no matter what car or lorry licences you already got.. [until you take a theory test, a compulsory training course, and TWO practical tests]

john... [full car licence, trailer licence for ALL groups, HGV1, full unrestricted bike licence.]

Well John,

I don't have the PSV or the HGV, but I can drive anything up to 7.5t, with or without trailer unless it is under the "PSV" section, with pretty much any number of wheels from two up.

I did actually do a training course and two practical tests for my bike, but no theory.

Oh, & my licence does not have 2 parts, nor does it have my picture on it, but, it is still legal and valid!

;)

well my static caravan survived Fridays gales, I'm sure you will all be glad to hear.  I hear rumours that many in these parts didn't survive.

Like many of the older ones on here I have a 7.5t and trailer licence just on passing my driving test a long time ago, and there was no theory test involved to get my bike licence either, and no tiered licence for that.
