any chance of a hand with this one

a motor is being carried along a rail at a hieght of 35m. the mass of the motor is 350 kg . What is the force that the motor exerts on the ground when it falls?

b.12kn

c.14kn

d.16kn

my calculations are getting me closer to answer b

dunno about force, but if the motor is 350KG and falls 35mtr.... someone is gonna be in trouble!

why are we multiplying velocity by hight to get acceleration?

I think you have been given the paper to some kind of psychic exam!

9.81 is acceleration due to gravity not terminal velocity - my mistake.

so it's 9.81m/s/s getting faster
