NO. why not crimp it out in the original back box and put a blank plate on it. it needs to be accessible for future inspection and maintenance under 17th edition.

It's funny Andy mentioned having a switched fused spur in the attic...

I did a job for someone on Friday, socket in loft for router, and he complained (before I started) that his loft light and kitchen extract weren't working and could I have a quick look. Well what was there, but a switched fused spur beyond the perlin :(

Numpty, going back in a few weeks to sort it out proper!
