Fused Spur From A Light Switch

Hi guys I am new to this forum and was looking for some advice

I am going to fit a alarm system in my house I want to put the alarm panel in the downstairs toilet which will give me the perfect cable runs around the house to connect all the pir and bell to the front of the property all I have in the toilet is a light switch would it be ok to run a 3 amp fused spur from the light switch or is this a complete no go . Thanks in advance

yes, but only if the neutral is wired through the switch...

And just because a wire is black or blue does not make it a neutral

maybe thats next weeks thread? my toilet light is always dim when switched off, but as soon as i switch it on the alarms power goes off
