Gas pipe

My mums flat. Thats the gas pipe feeding the boiler thats so close the switch has scraped the paint of the pipe. I have seen 4 other flats in the block exactly the same ray .

Seen many a similar situation. That's what you get when the plumb-bums follow in the sparks. Had a couple of gas pipes stopping you being able to remove cu cover. Not raight clever they aren't.

I'd be interested to know how they soldered that join without melting the FCU, unless they got a flameproof mat behind it

I was thinking that also. They must have assembled that part before fitting the pipe as a mat would not fit behind

Gas fitters just seem to be causing problems this week, two posts of their work on The Black Museum Forum and It's only monday. I wonder what we'll have tomorrow? Electric meter used as gas meter? Cu cut in half to fit gas pipe?

I have another one i will take a pic of next visit. The pipe is so close to the side of the C/Unit you have to pry it away o get the lid off

Have you been on www.talk.gasfittersforum.co.uk you would not believe what they say about us!!!

We are so considerate, we call out gas fitters when we need them, we never block off a gas isolation tap!!!

We always look forward to see our community electrician! mmm that was made up!!
