Cause tony blair says so

who sells that sort of insurance? while im on the question of insurance, mine is up for renewal in a month or so and i might go elsewhere so i can get PI & PL cover. can any of you recommend any insurers?
I use Gladiator in Swansea. Because of doing comercial and Industrial I pay

The way I see it is this , Admin, under Consumer Law a job has a 12month guarantee against faulty materials and faulty workmanship, whatever you may or may not write down. We are ordered by the government to offer a warranty ,through the scam provider backed by an insurance company which the client has to pay for.

As I said in an earlier post I have nothing from ELECSA to tell me what to do and have no intention in doing it anyway. I am not paid to sell insurance policies for some fat arsed suit sitting in a warm office .

What is PI insurance anyway ? Legally you only need Public Liability AFAIK

And I come across quite a few who don't have that .

Yes the NICEIC will offer a guarantee and warranty for all approved contractors registered with them.

Each job costs about 50p for the insurance backed warranty

Thats a bargain then do you have to fill a certificate in though.

No it comes through the post direct to the client for notified work only.

For all non notifiable work and industrial I have my own proffesional indemnity and all the relevant public liability insurances.
